Canadian School of Cricket (CSC)

is a reputed non-profit organization developing cricket from grassroots and up. Geared to improving cricket for competitive game, CSC is focused on one-on-one coaching helping youth and special-needs children gain more confidence. CSC is also working with seniors, new immigrants, and racialized communities to help them stay active through a variety of program like yoga, bingo, financial management, etc.

To celebrate cricket, we host our annual Canadian School of Cricket Gala to honour and appreciate students of the game.

For over 40 years, CSC has built a strong reputation as the only non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth, adults, and seniors in pursuing their dreams in cricket. We welcome players of all skill levels and provide them with the tools, training, and guidance to reach their full potential—both on and off the field.

At CSC, we don’t just teach cricket; we instill life lessons. Our mission is to create an environment that embraces inclusion, diversity, and opportunity, breaking down barriers for players regardless of their origin, immigration status, racial background, or special needs. We believe in empowerment through sport and stand against colonialism, ensuring that every cricketer has an equal chance to succeed.

Our Coach

Mukesh Narula

Head Coach (Level 3 – Cricket Australia Certified)

Mukesh Narula is a former Indian first class cricketer and former coach of the Canadian national side and former Canadian U19 coach. Prior to being appointed coach of Canada in August 2014, Mukesh had served as Baroda’s senior coach.

Narula’s first major coaching role came when he was appointed coach of the Baroda under-19 side for the 2007–08 season. Baroda won the Cooch Behar Trophy (the under-19 equivalent of the Ranji Trophy) for the first time during that season, and he subsequently secured a role as batting consultant with the Mumbai Indians for the 2009 IPL season.

Kannan Rajagopal

4+ years experience as a Coach, mentored various clubs like Cardinals Youth Academy, SOFF youth Academy, Scarborough Youth Cricket, Victoria Park CC, etc.

Member of Canada Cricket Reference Group (CCRG), associated with Toronto City.

Advisor to Ontario Masters Cricket League (OMCL) for development and organizational initiatives.

Supported multiple organizations (like SOFF, True North, etc.) in their strategic vision and Tournaments.

Played TNCA in India and upto Elite/S9 Cricket in Canada.
